What a whirlwind day! I started this morning with an appearance on “America’s Home Grown Veggies” with host Kate Copsey talking about community gardens and then trekked over to an out of the way spot just outside Atlanta’s Little 5 Points where an incredible transformation was well underway.
Anyone who knows Joe Lamp’l knows that he doesn’t do anything half way and the new community garden installation he designed for the FISKARS Project Orange Thumb program was absolutely no exception. When I arrived they had already been hard at work for just over three hours in the sweltering heat, but their progress was incredible.
